Somewhere, online, to put out there all the family research that has been sitting around on scraps of paper, just waiting to be put together. Information about my family history and Alister's. Various family names - Nidd, Transom, Todd, Latto, Calder, Bertram, Sutherland, Maher, Purvis... and the list goes on. Hoping to share information with fellow genealogical enthusiasts.

James Sarsfield Lacy (1863, Tipperary, Ireland - 6 February 1949, Wellington) married my Grandfather's aunt, Margaret Mary/Josephine Nidd (1868, Wellington - 12 November 1938, Wanganui) at St Mary of the Angels Catholic Church in Wellington on 2 May 1892.
Mary's Church, Boulcott-street, was, on Monday, the scene of a very
pretty wedding, when Miss Nidd was joined in the bonds of matrimony
to Mr.Lacy. The bride, who was dressed in cream nun's veiling, with
wreath and veil, was attended by three bridesmaids, who wore very
pretty brooches, the gift of the bridegroom, and was attired in white
muslin. The bride was given away by her father, who entertained the
guests at a ball in the evening, om honour of the event. The
bridesmaids were Misses Brady, Gaynor, and Clarke. The Rev. Father
Devoy, assisted by Rev. Dr. Watters and Rev. Father Goggan,
James and Margaret settled up the Wanganui River and had a large family:
Marie Lacy (18 August 1893, Wellington - 10 July 1981,Taumarunui)
2. Mabel Catherine Lacy (29 November 1894, Wellington - 25 December 1975, Auckland)
3. Thomas Edward Lacy (19 February 1896, Dunedin - 25 August 1977, Taumarunui)
